Jenny Jumpalumpa is a kangaroo from Australia. She was always a good student
growing up. When she was just six years old, her aunt and uncle took her to
a spelling bee. She was fascinated. From that point forward, she began
studying spelling, word origins, and vocabulary. She also started entering
spelling bees. She didn’t win at first, but persevered and eventually began
winning. She became so good that she won three years in a row. When she
would win, she became so excited that she hopped all around. All her friends
started calling her Spellaroo.
