Kory Merritt

Kory Merritt won the John Locher Memorial Award in 2007 for the cartoons he drew for SUNY Brockport's The Stylus. Inspired by folktales he learned while working at a summer camp, he started a series of children's stories collectively called "The Lost Side of Suburbia" on Comic Sherpa in early 2010, eventually moving to GoComics.com in 2011. He teaches K-6 art in Hammondsport, New York. His first book, The Dreadful Fate of Jonathan York, was published by Andrews McMeel in 2015.
